Our comprehensive assessments involve collecting information from multiple sources, such as parent interviews, observations, collateral information from screening assessments, and direct testing with the client. This thorough process allows us to provide a comprehensive report with specific recommendations, which will be discussed with the client or parents during a feedback session. We allocate 10-14 hours for this process to ensure a thorough evaluation.

In addition to our comprehensive assessments, we also offer specific assessments to assist in identifying cognitive/intellectual abilities, determining learning difficulties or disorders, and assessing Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). These assessments provide valuable insights into an individual's cognitive profile, strengths, weaknesses, and symptoms consistent with an ADHD diagnosis.

Rest assured, all your appointments will take place in our safe and friendly environment with fully private rooms and individualized care. While our main office is conveniently located on the Gold Coast, we also provide services to the Wide Bay Burnett area, as well as rural and remote areas.

We understand the importance of accessibility, especially in rural and remote settings. That's why we offer Telehealth services, which have proven successful in providing healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to announce that the Australian Government has approved ongoing Medicare rebates for all psychological Telehealth services.

Our dedicated Clinical Psychology Registrar, Rebecca, is highly qualified and experienced in cognitive and learning assessments for both children and adults. She has a particular interest in ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning disorders, but is skilled across a wide range of assessments. Rebecca is also an accredited Secret Agent Society Facilitator, offering evidence-based social skills programs for children.

If you hold a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan referral from a GP or a referral from a Psychiatrist/Paediatrician, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
