"For a place that rarely seems too busy to handle, they don't seem to get basic jobs done right but maybe there's more than meets the eye. I don't know but as much as I'm not usually entirely disappointed usually, the service and quality is usually average at best. Side note, what is with all these places never having ham cheese and tomato toasties or croissants anymore? Without the tomato it feels entirely like a waste of money. I have my other issues but it's not to say you won't enjoy yourself. Just don't be surprised if that isn't the case"
"We have been there twice in the last few months.Each time we have had mugs of hot chocolate. Both times they tasted like watered chocolate,very little milk used. Very disappointed,we won't go back."
"Terrible service today no coffee arrived at table as 6 others had theirs asked where’s mine. Was told it had been delivered to our table someone else had it as they all had there’s in front of them that was not so one was missing He was reluctant to help as he was adamant it had been delivered to our table so I said does that mean l don’t get a coffee he reluctantly made one for me when checking bank statement was amazed to see I had been charged $7.21 for a small lactose free coffee We were all upset by the arrogant attitude towards our group mistakes are made which we accept but to be treated like that was horrible and so expensive"
"Popped in for brunch. While the food was good & coffee hot, to see the lady sneeze in her hand, wipe it on her clothes then pick up plates of food to serve was a definite turn off. Not eating there again."
"Things I like; friendly service, got petite tables outside, can enjoy coffee near my scooter, robust coffee. Things I don't; get take away cup when ordered it in a mug, coffee not hot enough to my liking, flat white too foamy and not filled enough. Expect better from G.J! Visited again 3 weeks later again served in a takeaway cup instead of a mug and was lukewarm. "Just started my shift an hour ago," clearly not good enough. Would now give it 2 stars except I like the coffee except for the temp."
