Whether you're interested in fishing, boating, paddling, snorkeling, or diving, our park offers a range of activities to suit all adventure seekers.
One of the highlights of Masons Landing Park is its availability of campgrounds for non-bookable campgrounds. This means that you can enjoy the beauty of the park and its surroundings without the need for prior reservations. Immerse yourself in the serene natural surroundings and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
As we respect and acknowledge the Whadjuk people as the traditional owners of the Canning River Regional Park, we encourage visitors to do the same. Learn about the rich indigenous culture and history of the area, and appreciate the deep connection the Aboriginal communities have with the land, waters, and community.
Launch your canoe and embark on a paddling adventure along the Canning River. Mason's Landing offers a small, shady, and grassed park at the end of Liege Street, complete with a dedicated canoe launching area. Explore the tranquil waters, admire the stunning scenery, and reconnect with nature.
When planning your visit to Masons Landing Park, it is essential to consider your safety. We recommend traveling with a personal location beacon (PLB) to ensure your well-being. In the event of an emergency, having a PLB could potentially save your life.
For those interested in the diverse species that inhabit the area, we invite you to visit the Atlas of Living Australia. This comprehensive resource provides a list of species recorded within a 5km radius of Mason's Landing, allowing you to further explore the unique flora and fauna of the region.
The Government of Western Australia acknowledges the traditional owners throughout the state and their enduring connection to the land, waters, and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures, as well as the Elders both past and present.
Come and experience the beauty of Masons Landing Park, where adventure meets serenity, and nature takes center stage. Discover the wonders of Western Australia's national parks and create unforgettable memories in this picturesque setting.
Reviews
"what I like is this park gives quite an exclusive atmosphere since it is surrounded by houses. not a big park but gets pretty much things you need to have some fun and get some fresh air: wide grass field, big pond, couple of gazebos, bbq area, playgrounds, and clean toilets. very close to carousel too if you need to buy food to enjoy your time here."
"The actual grass area is much smaller than you think, there is a toilet and BBQ area. Gazebo on the other end of the park where you can sit. Little river but it's kinda murky and didn't see any ducks around. Quiet area but people always around, enough space to have a good 40m between groups, very little pathway to walk, the rest seems to be bush and no bridge across the river. Decent park but nothing special unless you are coming for historical parks. Almost lit/10"
"Nice and quite area with a small playground, toilet and bbq"
"I was kayaking past Mason's Landing the other day and it struck me how time has pretty much obliterated any actual landing that may have been there in the past. And Google asked me to review it. It is absolutely a picnic gem in the Cannington area. I often use the unsealed car park to eat my lunch when I'm doing vet house calls and I've enjoyed a number of family picnics there over the years. Beautiful place with much history."
"Was let into this gated area by Rob. ( I think ) the local Ranger. REALLY NICE HUMAN. Absolutely Beautiful area.a Peaceful. No fish biting unfortunately. Had some beautiful visitors. Unfortunately I also fed/caught. Had to release a turtle Great morning."
