"GB has raised/ continue to raise our three kids, aged 6, 5, and 18 months, and we've experienced only exceptional service. They truly care about us and our children, going beyond our expectations. The long-tenured staff members are a testament to their shared values, collaboration, and are evidently in a supported and structured environment by management to regulate classrooms and achieve learning outcomes, which they go to a lot of effort to Because GB Kenwick was the first daycare my kids went to, I didn’t know that all daycare’s didn’t hold a certain standard of care. I certainly wasn’t ungrateful, but I had NO IDEA how bad it could be. I was coddled by GB Kenwick; sheltered. We only ‘moved on’ because we bought our first house further away. After thorough research into recommendations, we tried two other highly rated centres. Below, are my experiences with all centres. The “after GBK” centres: Screaming bedlam/mayhem during pickup; the kids are unhinged. Socks/belongings regularly missing. When picking the kids up in the early afternoon, unexpectedly, the staff were on their phones while the kids watch Peppa Pig off an iPad. On the first day, they did not offer my 8-month-old breastmilk for the entire day, instead, treated him like a toddler. They offered water and food, but not once did they offer him the supplied breastmilk, despite verbally telling them several times in the morning, and supplying a written routine. When I brought Owen home, he guzzled over 400 mls of milk before passing out. I begged GBK to have us back and squeeze us back in, the difficulty for them to make such arrangements. GB Kenwick – abridged: Supportive of clean cloth nappies. I’ve recovered odd socks they’ve gone to the effort to post Xplor app. The centre goes above and beyond with late notice requests for casual bookings or last-minute urgent bookings. A gorgeous formal “graduating” ceremony photoshoot for upcoming pre-primary, and package of delightful, thoughtful things including a leavers shirt. Children’s behaviour is well managed and under control. The same educators; Like I said, like furniture. Children and educators alike form strong bonds with each other. Dropping your kids off in the morning, knowing their needs are going to be met. GBK are feel as close as family. Thank you, if you made it this far!"
"A huge shout out for the whole team at Kenwick GB. My son has been attending the centre for a year now and he’s formed amazing relationships there and he loves it. The educators right through to the management team are amazing and so supportive, and they keep me updated with my sons progress and what he’s been up to each day. "My daughter was at the centre for 1.5 years before we moved out of the area. She attended from the time she was a few months old and I feel the care that she received was exceptional. You can tell that the team genuinely love their jobs which meant I always felt that my daughter was 100% nurtured and cared for. Their communication was excellent so I felt like I was a part of her day still also. I miss all of the wonderful staff at the centre and thank them for helping my daughter become the bright, confident little girl that she is."
