Our car AC regas service involves recharging your car's air conditioning system with the correct amount of virgin refrigerant, as specified by the car manufacturer. For vehicles manufactured in 1994 or earlier, whose AC systems have not been converted to the "newer" R134 refrigerant, we use SP34E refrigerant. All cars manufactured after 1994 use R134a refrigerant.
In addition to recharging the system, we also perform a complete recovery of old refrigerant, vacuum the system, inject UV dye, and conduct a visual inspection during every AC regas/service. It is important to note that we inspect every AC system prior to regassing to ensure its proper functioning.
