Hi-Surf Beachfront Resort Apartments

"Apartment is roomy, however it is not child friendly. Everything in it is glass. No plastic cups or plates. So if staying with children I recommend u don’t, or bring your own plastic cups etc as they will charge you if you break a glass. The glass lamp in the room had a crack and when my daughter touched it, a huge chunk of glass fell off it and almost cut her. We got charged $140 for it. Also, balcony doors only latch, you cannot lock them with a key so if you have small children u need to be aware that they can access the balcony easily and climb on outdoor furniture and hang over the rails. We couldn’t use the ensuite toilet as it flooded the ensuite every time we flushed it. Air con didn’t spread to rooms so was very hot of a night. TVs have internet but they don’t allow you to stream anything. Lounge had no padding so you were pretty much sitting on wood. Construction site next door was an eyesore and when workers were there it felt like we had no privacy as they could see into our apartment. Dishwasher rail was broken so you couldn’t pull the drawer out to stack it. Definitely needs an upgrade. Location was good, beds were comfy. That’s about all."

"We had a bad experience in this hotel . In general I believe it's a perfect view hotel. But the room we got is a bit turn off. it's next to the garbage room which is a bit smelly every time we go out. And the balcony is just face to the construction site . Dusty and noisy. When we wanna go out the enjoy the view in balcony . The construction noise is a bit turn off . We originally wanna enjoy the sunbathing with our little toddler in the balcony but we can't coz it's too dusty and noisy ."

"FANTASTIC! We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Absolute Beachfront Apartment which was beautifully appointed, perfectly clean and the living space and kitchen were huge. The views were incredible and we saw whales breaching out at sea. The staff were so helpful and friendly and when we asked for a slightly later checkout, we were given more time than requested without issue. Hi Surf is on the tram line, a short walk to Cavill down the Espy or beach and the perfect place to stay in Surfers. Can't recommend it highly enough! Thank you for a fabulous few days, we'll be back again soon!!"

"This amazing apartment is an absolute delight to stay. The friendly staff at reception will make you feel home. The rooms are spacious clean and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cutlery. The view from balcony is stunning and it is just right across the beach. Behind the apartment is the tram station. The location is perfect for a family vacation. Do stay here if you plan to stay in Surfers Paradise."
