About the Business
Welcome to the Seaford District Community Children's Centre, a trusted establishment located at Seaford, Grand Boulevard, 600. Since 1997, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional Long Day Care (LDC) services for children aged twelve weeks up to five years old. Additionally, we offer Before School Care, After School Care (OSHC), and Vacation Care for school-aged children. As a convenience to our local community, we also provide bus transport for school children.
At SDCCC, we are proud to be licensed for 89 long day care places for children aged 0-5 years, as well as 70 places for our Out of School Hours Care site, which is conveniently located at All Saints Primary School. With the aim of meeting the diverse needs of our community, we have employed approximately forty-four dedicated staff members who are committed to providing top-quality care and excellence in all of our highly accredited services.
As a lunchbox centre, we prioritize the health and well-being of our children. To ensure their nutrition needs are met, we are guided by Early Nutrition Services, specifically Laura Ryan, a renowned Pediatric Nutritionist. Furthermore, we are proud members of the Cancer Council's SunSmart Program, adhering to their recommended guidelines. In addition, we are an Asthma Friendly centre, taking necessary precautions to create a safe environment for children with asthma.
As a Community Children's Service, we operate on a Not For Profit basis. Our operations are governed by a Management Committee consisting of families, staff, and local community members. The dedicated LDC & OSHC Directors oversee the day-to-day running of our services, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
