"Absolutely amazing! We've been here twice, and the food was exceptional both times. The karaage chicken and the miso eggplant are a must try! The sushi is fresh and melts on your mouth. "Perfect secret location for an excellent Japanese meal. You can order anything from the menu and everything will taste great. The service was top notch and waitresses were lovely and friendly! The Karaage chicken was crunchy and tender, not dried like any other Japanese restaurants. The sushi was perfect, great texture and tasted fantastic. The fish platter was great and fresh! Would definitely go back again to this cute little restaurant hidden on a train!"

"We had a great evening, we were served up fantastic authentic Japanese food. The sashimi was a highlight being very fresh as well as the beef tataki and aburi sushi roll. The train car atmosphere and great customer service made it a most enjoyable experience."

"Intimate restaurant located in a very old train carriage. You get to sit in a original train booth with comfy seats and wonder about all the different people that rode on the train many years ago. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted lovely and fresh. Portions were generous. Husband and wife team running the restaurant were delightful. Kitchen is located at one end of the carriage where you enter the restaurant. For such a little kitchen the chef sure does produce very tasty food. Did not have to wait long for our meal. Shared three dishes at lunch time, Karaage Chicken (sorry, couldn't wait to dig in so picture only shows the last piece), Prawn and Vegetable Tempura (includes two prawns) and Chicken Teriyaki. Yum Yum Yum. Couldn't stop thinking of the lovely flavours long after we left. Would've gone back the next day if I didn't already have plans. Can't wait to try some of the other menu items on a future visit. Meal cost $68 for our three choices, small rice and two drinks."

"My new favourite Japanese restaurant! What an absolute gem of a place. Came for the unique dining experience of being in a train carriage, will be back for the incredible food and service. We got a little too excited over the menu options and definitely would have over-ordered, but the chef was kind enough to help us order a more reasonable amount. He was right, even after culling a few items, we left absolutely stuffed! Just means we'll need to go back to try the rest of the menu! ;)"
