At Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD), our thriving community of artists, designers, and photographers are constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity. Whether you choose to study at our South Bank campus in the heart of Brisbane's cultural precinct or our exciting Gold Coast campus, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with Griffith Film School students studying film and screen media, animation, and games design.

Our world-class facilities, including art galleries, exhibition spaces, studios, and computer labs, provide you with access to the tools and resources you need to bring your artistic vision to life. Learn from some of the world's leading creatives who will inspire and guide you on your artistic journey.

Starting from 2024, admission to study at Queensland College of Art and Design is available via portfolio submission or ATAR/Rank. To help you prepare for your artistic journey, we offer workshops tailored to those in Year 10 and above. These workshops will be held on 26 & 27 June 2023 at the South Bank campus (Visual Arts and Design) and 29 & 30 June 2023 at the Gold Coast campus (Design only). During the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to complete at least one piece of work for their creative portfolio, learn how to photograph and present their work for maximum impact, and gain insights on how to write about their own practice and creativity.

If you're looking for creative services, QCAD Live offers a range of services at a commercial rate. Our emerging artists, photographers, and designers, under the guidance of our expert staff, can bring your vision to life, whether it's an illustration, design, mural, sculpture, or print.

Experience QCAD from wherever you are with our 360° virtual tours, allowing you to explore our spaces and studios without stepping foot on campus. Additionally, you can view and interact with graduate works and outcomes in our online graduate showcase, where we celebrate the achievements of our inspiring students.

Our commitment to art extends beyond our campus, as Griffith University Art Museum, located on the South Bank campus, is the custodian of the second largest public art collection in Queensland.
