"We used to come to Amaretto every week for coffee and a meal. Due to whatever circumstances we haven’t been here for many years but decided to for old times sake. Nothing has changed in the 28 years. I ordered the calamari grilled and it was probably the worst lunch I have had in a while. Not sure what was stuck to the bottom of the squid but it almost looked like it was grilled too long in the pan and there was stuff stuck to the bottom of it. Then the inside of the squid seemed to have not been cleaned out properly. Wedges were horrible. The potato looked like it was a month old. The wife ordered the toasted sandwich which was cheaper and better although there was so much black burnt soot on it, we had to scrape it off. I don’t think I will be coming back for awhile, if ever. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Service was good, unfortunately the food let the venue down."
