"Went here for dinner last night. All the staff were amazing and extremely friendly. Our server was Damir who was incredible. Had amazing knowledge of the dishes and made sure we were well looked after during the night. Knew exactly what dishes we had eaten during the night and what was still to come. Food was absolutely incredible. Had the sashimi platter, the snapper tempura, wagyu flank, spicy tuna crispy rice, queensland roll, wagyu roll and prawn roll. Finished with dessert which was amazing, highly recommended you complete the night with the Donatsu! Service and food definitely amazing! Thank you to all the amazing staff and a special thank you to Damir for making the night a special one!"

"This was my first Fine Dining experience. I came with a friend and we ordered the set menu; 9 courses, $165 per head + $50 sake pairing per head. The food was incredible. Everything was cooked and plated with such love. The standouts for me were the wagyu and lamb cutlets. The sake pairings were very well selected as well. Decor and customer service was great. The atmosphere was so welcoming. Everything moved swiftly. The only issue I had with the experience was when I saw the bill and realised we were charged $22 for still-water. Is this common-practice in this part of the industry? If yes then no worries; but if not it would have been nice to have been informed. I understand that $22 pales in comparison to the other $215 I had already committed to spend, but it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. We felt a little deceived. I thoroughly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the area and happy to splash out for a delicious meal. I’m still salivating thinking about the Wagyu."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kiyomi Japanese Restaurant at The Star Casino Gold Coast, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The set menu offered an incredible variety of delectable dishes that left me utterly amazed. The standout dish of the evening was undeniably the Miso Tooth Fish. Let me tell you, it was simply divine! The fish was flawlessly cooked, tender, and infused with the most delicious miso flavor. It was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal and quite possibly the nicest thing I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Not only was the food outstanding, but the selection of wines and cocktails at Kiyomi was equally impressive. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, recommending the perfect drinks to accompany each course. The pairing truly elevated the entire dining experience and added an extra layer of delight to the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was stylish and sophisticated, creating an atmosphere that made me feel truly special. "We celebrated our daughter 21st birthday dinner here and the restaurant decor is fancy, food is delicious, customer service is excellent (manager and staff) and the price is affordable for fine dinning. The set menu (to share) and cost $165pp is a must try as we ended up full and satisfied for the evening. Thank you for the wonderful bday service and our family will be definitely coming back.
