"Just overall disappointing. Pushed in to buying a different ring which was conveniently not under the sale items which she neglected to mention! had to order it in - which was fine - but when i went to pick it they said there was “computer issue” and didn’t print any of the docs or certificates so I left with an eftpos receipt for a $2000 wedding band. Any time you go in the staff are too busy gossiping about customers in front of them and bickering about other silly things. Would rather drive further to any other store."

"AWFUL EXPERIENCE BUYING WEDDING RINGS FROM MICHAEL HILL A painfully long story short: • We ordered our wedding rings in November and were told 6 weeks for them to arrive. Our wedding was in 5 months, the following April. • During this time there were numerous delays. • We received almost zero proactive communication from Michael Hill. • After 2 months passed, we constantly called Michael Hill for updates without success. They promised calls back which we almost never received. • After multiple excuses for the delays the rings came with about 4 weeks to spare, only for 1 ring to be the wrong colour. • The ring was remade and was ready 1 DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING, 4.5 months after being ordered… • We received barely any apology and their offer of compensation for the stress and lack of professionalism/customer service in the lead-up to our wedding was a $100 voucher to use in-store. Laughable. This is the short version. We will never shop at Michael Hill again."

"Dissapointed. Paid the extra 10% ish option to have ring resized when needed only to be told patronisingly on the phone that it's a custom order and can't be resized from a staff member "Julie". Initially told two week order turn over only to rudly talked down to now 3-4 months. None of this was said prior to purchase otherwise we wouldn't of spent $6k with Michael Hill Marion and gone elsewhere, not a nice memory of engagement"

"Michael Hill jewellery Marion has left me with an intangible loss because they violated my trust. My fault was I was in a rush with my second purchase the same day as I had already bought one pair, the second one I was literally pushed to buy where as I told them I was getting late for my next engagement and would come back on Wednesday to buy it. I was told something else as for the details of the purchase I made than what I was being given. When I came home and checked again to my shock the details did not match to what I was told about the product. The price also had a variation as the store manager tapped the app details for me for payment plan and I was not told about the processing fee of the payment plan app. I called i emailed and I called again but Brooke the store manager never responded and nor was I informed that she was on her day off. I was told she is busy and she will call me back. But she didn’t. Amber another store manager was rude on the phone and then when I met her in person she brushed me off in the name of her policy that no exchange or refund I was happy to upgrade but I was shut down for it and I was asked to leave. I wanted to buy the product but I was misinformed about the product and when I highlighted it to them the brushed me off in the name of policy. My fault being trusting of them but what about the Lies. Nathan the State manager calls and is further more insulting and says you are behaving this way because things didn’t go your way. When I was crying on the phone he said to me that he feels like I was shouting on him. And that he trusts his staff and cannot help me because it’s Michael Hill Jewellers policy. Does the policy include being insulting towards their clients and cheating them and lying and just making a sale. Please never visit Marion Adelaide Michael Hill or the brand ever. I want them to review camera footage from Saturday and Monday how I was pushed on both days first to buy the earrings and then to loose my calm. Mortifying experience."
