Reviews
"Presented to Urgent Care, got charged $150 only to find out they can't complete the service I had paid for. I required a follow-up at Urgent Care the following day but got told not a single vacancy could be had until a full seven days later. I got told either pay another $85 to see one of their GPs or go to ER. I will be seeking a refund, I didn't get the full service I have paid for and if I have to go to ER because they couldn't provide the follow-up the doctor told me I needed, what was the point in ever going to Urgent Care? They've left it up to me to decide if the eye is improving. The doctor was fantastic, but it's clear something is very wrong when they are seeing patients they can't fully care for."
"Urgent care itself have been great in our experience with the two visits we have had with the nurses and doctors. They have been very helpful. Although, the lady that completed our x-ray this morning for our youngest child and also on another previous occasion for my eldest child ( same lady) was rude. The first Occassion (6months ago) she told me to give my 8 month old a phone to watch to keep him occupied to complete an X-ray on my eldest child and then flat out refused to do the X-ray. Today, my younger child was in a lot of hip pain and whilst trying to take the X-ray she was getting frustrated with me for trying to limit the pain my son was in. She huffed and snapped at me when I wasn’t holding his knees right. I understand that the angles may need to be perfect to get the right picture but being rude, snapping and huffing at me is unprofessional especially when you can see a young child in pain."
"Last attempt to see their "urgent care", only because Joondalup Hospital visits are never less than 8 hours to get a band aid. Just like the previous minor emergencies, the receptionist assured us they can look at the injury (a crushed thumb with the nail coming off). 30min wait, 2min with a nurse and doctor, and we're off to the hospital anyway. Anything more than a splinter is a waste of time to even try and see them with their "sure we'll look at it" attitude! Please, just be honest and send patients to the hospital if unsure or get a doctor's opinion to confirm before making patients wait half an hour or more"
"Really friendly staff and doctors but X-ray/radiology section of clinic is so poorly run. One x-ray operator for over 6 patients that all waited over 2 hours. Waiting room for x-ray full and radiologist went for dinner. Very poor system and a lot of very frustrated patients! Thank you to receptionists for being so friendly (who were also in disbelief at the slowness of radiology)!!"
"Unprofessional, unacceptable and unhelpful, felt like I had to tell the doctor what we needed done, my daughter is asthmatic, spacer was provided 1hour after requested, 4year old had breathing difficulties. Did request the spacer as the nearest chemist after hours was 30min away, was advised they reuse the mask, not hygenic at all if they do that, My daughter vomited the steroids as she always does, which I did advise to nurse & doctor prior to going for X-ray requesting a sick bag. I was spoken about by the nurse who had to clean up the vomit, when confronted the Doctor continued to talk badly about the radiologist to me stating she should have cleaned it which I found unprofessional. Do not recommend this practice at all! Did call up to speak to management this morning at 8.30am still waiting for the call back. Had more help from the girls at the front desk."
