Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Parkwood - Woodlands Way! Located in Parkwood, Woodlands Way, our establishment is a point of interest and a school that caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Since 2005, we have been an integral part of the local community, situated conveniently near Arundel Primary School and easily accessible via public transport.

At Goodstart Parkwood Woodlands Way, we prioritize working in partnership with families and the community to provide quality care and education. Our goal is to create a natural and sustainable environment that is both inviting and educational, ensuring that children have fun while learning. With natural playgrounds spread over an acre, children have ample space to explore and engage with the outdoors. We also incorporate sustainability practices such as recycling, worm farming, and composting. In fact, children have the opportunity to grow their own vegetables and flowers in our garden beds.

Our dedicated staff members have a combined experience of over 100 years in the childcare industry, with many of them being educators at Goodstart Parkwood for more than three years. They have a warm rapport with families and children, making a conscious effort to communicate daily during drop-off and pick-up times. To keep families informed, we provide daily information about the day's activities in each child's room and on Storypark, an online application that allows us to share and communicate privately with the people that matter most to your child.

As part of our commitment to holistic development, we offer a Kindergarten program led by a fully qualified teacher. This program ensures that children are prepared for starting school. Additionally, we provide healthy chef-prepared meals, including morning and afternoon tea, along with lunch.

My name is Leanne McIvor, and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Parkwood Woodlands Way. With an Advanced Diploma in Children Services and 33 years of experience in the childcare sector, including 16 years as a Centre Director, I am passionate about working closely with children and families. Supporting families and establishing ongoing partnerships to provide the best possible early start to life is my ultimate goal.
