"I went yesterday (07/08) to Chemist Warehouse in Cottesloe. First and last time. I have recently moved in to the area and needed to buy some things for myself and my family. I was with my fiance and our toddler was in the stroller. Once we got into the store, we noticed and aisles are really narrow. So we decided I would go inside and buy and my fiance would wait outside with our daughter - it would be impossible for us to walk with the stroller in there. Totally non-accessible store. At the entrance, I noticed a lady was standing there. (long straight dark hair, with a jumper written 'security' on the back). When I started walking into the store, I noticed she was following me. I had no bags with me, only my card in the pocket. I was in the skincare aisle and she passed by me TWICE! And then was walking around looking at me. I almost asked her what the problem was, but I decided not to and instead I finished what I had to and left. I spent around 15 minutes in that store, spent almost 150 bucks and would have spent even more if the staff was helpful and the security guard didn't make me feel uncomfortable. I think the act happened as a pure result of racism, due to the fact I am a black women. I paid for my purchase and I noticed she was close to the cashiers on her phone. When I left the store and I spoke with my fiance about what happened, he told me that the security guard went outside the store and was sort of staring at him and our daughter. My expected outcome of this complaint is: - formal apology from Chemist Warehouse (both head office and Collestoe store) - investigation of this incident and that security guard to be warned and trained. - I want to be notified what corrective actions you will be putting in place to make sure this won't be happening again. I will wait until COB Thursday for your response. If I don't get any, I will escalate the matter further. By what I read on Google Reviews about this store, this unacceptable behavior has happened before."

"Really well stocked Chemist. Lots of discounted products cheaper than the bigger supermarket chains. Prescription medicines well priced and cheaper than anywhere else. They do a variety of vaccinations here including the FluVax. I saved about $40 doing it here as Dr will charge me for a consult as well as the vaccine. Will be arranging them every year with these guys now. Friendly service and the nurse adminstering the flu shot was exceptional. Very friendly and efficient."
