"Everything about this place is ideal for backpackers. I am not used to staying in backpackers accomodations, but the staff here probably picked up that I was nervous and went out of their way to help me find my room and show me the facilities. I did not expect to be received so warmly. The place is kept as tidy as possible and is warm at night even in August. The beds are so good here too, really soft. Leaving today was the first time I actually felt like I might miss a backpackers place :) thanks for helping me change my worldview of people."
"Actually I didn't want to stay long in Adelaide but this hostel made me want to be here for almost a month. Living here feels like living in a shared flat. The manager, Rob, does everything to ensure that you meet new people quickly, including hosting free BBQs, donating drinks and organizing other activities. He also helps where he can, be it problems with the car or organizational matters. If you respect its rules you will have a great time here. Kitchen, bathrooms and rooms are cleaned daily and thanks to Rob's attention and rules you feel super safe."
"I stayed here for a couple of months and really felt this place become home away from home. Rob is a warm host who makes sure you are have a good time. He has a low tolerance for trouble and has seen unruly people have to leave so that everyone feels safe. He is constantly taking feedback and improving the place. There are free BBQs ever so often and gives you a great opportunity to meet so many backpackers from around the world. The environment overall was inviting and I've made so many friends that I look forward to seeing in the future."
