Additionally, we take pride in our extensive wine selection, sourced from various countries including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United States, and Australia. The regions of Burgundy and Piemonte are particularly prominent on our wine list.

Now, you can experience A Hereford Beefstouw without traveling to Scandinavia. Our restaurant is conveniently located at 143 Hutt Street in Adelaide, South Australia. Since our establishment in 1971 near Herning, Denmark, we have sold millions of steaks and become the most well-known and respected steak house in Denmark.
In 2007, we partnered with Australian farmers Tim and Sarah Burvill to establish South Australian Cattle Co., a farm near Lucindale in the lower south east of SA. This joint venture aimed to supply our European restaurants with the finest Hereford beef. Recognizing the perfect city for our first Australian restaurant, we embarked on a long search that concluded when we discovered a beautifully restored 1850s bluestone building on Hutt Street. In September 2011, A Hereford Beefstouw Adelaide proudly opened its doors.
We are open from Monday to Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm and Wednesday to Friday from 11:30 am to 10:30 pm. Join us for an exquisite dining experience that combines exceptional steak, fine wines, and a special atmosphere.

"Amazing steak cooked to perfection. A wine selection that goes beyond expectations. You will pay more but you get what you pay for. We couldn’t fault the food at all. Our waiter was exceptional, a young Hindi man who was attentive without being intrusive. The only let down was the one female staff member who wore a crop top, (or it looked like one) no apron like the rest of the waiting staff and walked around chewing gum like she owned the place with out actually doing much."
"All the food was fine, but here's a review in line with the pricing. My 250g fillet steak looks a bit small & lonely, eh? I envisioned something more for close to $60... A selection of mustards, horseradish, accompaniments, garnish, etc., would make it more appetizing and help the optics. The whole meal was dominated by the chips-from-the-freezer for volume. The caesar salad was pretty boring and like a home-made salad. No egg, anchovies, bacon, etc. Service was good, but kitchen slow."
"Super yum, but a little bit pricey! Great for a celebration and it’s a nice little location. Ribs/ meat was great, I do think maybe some greens or sauce would have made it better but overall a great meal!"
