"Always a great place to go for breakfast lunch, dinner, drinks. Five separate areas, each with a different environment and/purpose whether be a casual drink or full menu. One of the older pubs in Fremantle."
"Ate Friday night 18/8 with friends. From past experience with food here, am not a fan of their dishes - too many ingredients that don't go well together and dill pickles seem to be served with everything. Why ? Decided to try Fish & Chips grilled - fish was dry & overcooked & those dill pickles which were not on the menu, tainted the salad. Disappointed and will not eat their food again.Get rid of the dill pickles & focus on better food."
"Have stayed here multiple times and really like the place! The Chester room is awesome. I like the character of the place. Shared bathrooms are modern, clean and well stocked. Seamless check-in, very relaxed staff. Parking can be tight in the evenings, but I've always managed to snag a spot. As popular a spot as it is, I havent had any issues with noise at night. The food is great! Lots of good choices on the menu, but I havent been able to get past the lamb rack! Great spot on the main drag and very fairly priced accomodation"
"Nice and relaxed atmosphere and service was usually fast. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would return to The Local Hotel. The halloumi and mushroom burger was very nice. Though I did wish the mushroom was larger to match the size of the burger. The steak sandwich was decent and well priced but we have had better."
"We go reguarly for lunch which is always plentiful and delicious. Lunch specials are great especially the Thai Beef curry! Love the different and unusual wines available by the glass and the cheerful service, staff always have time for a chat! Variety of seating areas inside and out - great Freo pub!"
