"Good honest food and old fashioned service. Definitely not standard pub/tavern food, chefs are internationally experienced and meals reflect this with different flavours and high quality. A great place for families and larger groups."
"Not what it used to be - First time back in a number of years. I ordered the rib eye steak for $46.00. I was a bit suspicious that they did not list the steak weight on the menu, but figured like any rib eye steak I had ever ordered it would be at least 300g. Now I butcher my own meat, so I know a thing or two about steak, considering I never cut my steaks to be less than 14oz (400g). What was served resembled a golf ball, maybe slightly bigger. At a guess, I'd say 150g... tops! Whatever the weight fact is, it was all over in 5 forkfuls. I ordered it with the mushroom sauce. What was severed resembled the juice from the frying pan with a slice of mushroom. I had been taken out by a supplier for lunch, so I wasn't footing the bill, otherwise would have simply just not picked up the plate off the counter and asked for my money back. After lunch, I returned to the office, and still hungry, made myself a sandwich. The Odin has taught me a great lesson though, if the menu does not list the steak portion size, then you are probably not going to get value for money."
"Had a fabulous birthday lunch with 30 of my family and friends at the Odin. Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere. The owner Greg and his staff made us feel more than welcome. Our meals came out very quickly despite us having a large group and the restaurant being full. Thank you for a great afternoon, we will be back again."
