"Difficult to find a good gynaecologist. Dr Piksi was no different. I felt uncomfortable during our first consultation. Seemed she was adamant on blaming us for endometriosis and seemed arrogant. Was not keen on listening, and kept saying “I know that…, I know the process…, I am a doctor and so on” Usual Indian mentality. No one wants a know it all, we want doctors who care and understand. When my wife had her first surgery in NZ, I had recommended to the doctors, if we could start hormonal therapy. We did get prescribed pills but were not informed that we should skip the sugar pills. According to Dr Piksi, It seemed she blamed us for that. I am not a doctor. What do you get taught in school? Where is person centered care? Our surgery in Australia was also not great. Dr Yip was ambiguous about the information and pictures she provided. Dr Yip (Wesley Hosp) , verbally told us that she did certain procedures but this does not show in the pictures and report. Guess what, she forgot to take more pictures.Dr Yip was not keen on answering questions, so, to seek clarity, we thought we should consult another doctor. Wrong choice. Please teach doctors about person centered care and some listening skills. Life happens, we are not always able to achieve what we can. In the end, I asked for some sort of imaging to confirm if Dr Yip did what she said she did. This is because the pictures of previous surgery are ambiguous, and my wife’s symptoms are actually worse. I didn’t think Dr Piksy understood what we were saying. Don’t waste your time and money here."
