Reviews
"Good spot day or night. Spots to sit, bathrooms, decent amount of parking. Good to watch the boats in the distance."
"Such a beautiful, relaxing place. Spent nearly an hour just gazing into rock pools to find weird creatures - saw several sea hares too! Toulets well maintained. Hot Barista van was there - cakes, toasties, coffee etc. Cute little playground for kids. Such a pleasant reserve."
"A pleasant and quiet non-swimming beach with lots of rock pools to explore and nice walking tracks. Beware the rock shelves are very slippery."
"This is a stunning beach in the Caloundra region on the Sunshine Coast. Generally always picturesque and quite often deserted even in peak holiday season. The beach is exposed so the ways can be quite rough and the beach is not patrolled, caution is therefore urged especially with younger swimmers. There is a shelf just off the low tide mark which makes the water deeper faster. There are also some rocks to clamber over and explore at either end. Shelly Beach is also dog friendly, importantly, Dogs are allowed off leash from May β October on the beach only from 4pm β 8am. Shelly Beach is a Turtle nesting area, and therefore outside of these hours, please keep your dog on leash. There is car parking at either end, although the larger car park is at the southern end."
