Telling me lies about the ATO system not working to not process my taxes and my husband, finally I have a new accountant and because of his being incompetent and lack of work ethic we are paying a large amount of money. and also we are behind with some taxes lodgement from years ago."

"Non-transparent, incompetent, and unreliable. Thoroughly frustrating experience. Namro supplied me with an estimated tax return which was well beyond what I thought I should be getting back. When I approached Malcolm about it, he went through the calculations again, and assured me that the estimate was correct. I eventually needed to sit down with my accountant colleague and do the calculations myself, only to find out Namro missed the HECS repayments from my tax return. This ordeal took around 2 weeks. I was of course charged $198 for their "services" at the end of it all. To make matters worse, they had overcharged my wife $330 with her tax return. At first they tried to justify the excessive rate by saying the service fee is based on the amount of time their accountants spent on reviewing the matter. When we requested specifics (time spent, hourly charge etc.), they back-tracked and said it's actually a fixed fee. After a week of persistence, they finally came back and admitted they had overcharged her by $330. P.S. We requested an ETA and service fee estimate BEFORE the lodging the tax return, but this request was completely ignored."
