"This was my first time seeking assistance from a professional. I had an 18 minute phone call with Anita, our very first consult and meeting, where I was belittled and spoken to with complete condescension on all topics from my ability to send emails (I didnt know she was going to ask me to email anything) and spelling (I wasn't familiar with the spelling of her email address) why I'm unable to zoom right now (I was given a choice by the ladies at reception when booking and chose a phone call but according to Anita these are pointless) and to really just targeting how I speak in general. Again, i was nervous. I'd never sought sessions before and didnt know where to start. I was constantly cut off when answering her questions which didnt make me feel any more confident. Anita clearly likes to hear herself talk more than she listens to her clients. When I expressed that I was unhappy about what was happening in this call I was told I was being "too sensitive" and when I called her out on that she tried backpedalling saying it was a bad call line. Anita then tried forcing yet another zoom call in future instead of our scheduled appointment we were having and when I said I don't think it's a good idea she just hung up. Anita is the epitome of the bad doctors you hear people talk about that makes others avoid seeking help. I'd recommend avoiding her. Edit: for an update since I wrote this 2 years ago, I'm so glad this went so terribly. I found a far far superior doctor. Anita's absolutely horrible but this actually turned out to be in my favour :)"
