Welcome to Kindred Clubhouse, located at 29 Marine Parade in Hastings, Australia. We are an establishment focused on health and a point of interest in the Frankston Mornington Peninsula region. Our institution offers a unique and free peer-support model for individuals looking to improve or maintain their mental health through meaningful friendships and purposeful activities.

At Kindred Clubhouse, we believe in the power of connection and community. Our members come together to support one another in their mental health journeys, creating a safe and welcoming space for growth and recovery. Whether you're looking for social interaction, personal development, or employment and education opportunities, our Clubhouse is here to help.

Our non-profit organization was founded in 2016 with the goal of providing individuals with mental illness access to a supportive environment. We aim to build a strong community and network of support, fostering lasting friendships and providing resources for employment and education. Located in Hastings on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, Kindred Clubhouse operates in alignment with the internationally recognized Clubhouse model, which is an evidence-based approach to mental health recovery.

What sets us apart is our member-driven approach. Kindred Clubhouse is run by and for our members, with individuals working side-by-side as peers and partners with our staff to run every function of our Clubhouse. This collaborative effort creates a sense of ownership and empowerment among our members, as they actively contribute to the success and growth of our community.

As a Clubhouse, we offer more than just a program or social service. We are a community of individuals working together towards a common goal – the attainment of lasting health and happiness for our members. Our Clubhouse operates on the principles of a work-ordered day, consensus-based decision making, and opportunities for paid employment, community-based education, access to social and medical services, and housing support. We also provide regular weekend and evening social and recreational activities to promote a sense of belonging and enjoyment.

Kindred Clubhouse is proud to be part of the global Clubhouse movement, with over 300 successful Clubhouses worldwide and several in Australia, including Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, and Tasmania. Our dedicated team of professionals, including Michael, Brad, Karen, Sam, Nick, Eric, Sarah, and Kim, bring years of experience and expertise in mental health service delivery, employee relations, occupational therapy, and executive leadership.
