As a dedicated psychologist in full-time private practice, I bring many years of experience to the table. I specialize in assisting individuals who are struggling with a wide range of concerns, including psychological trauma, loss and grief, depression, anxiety, stress, fears and phobias, relationship problems, addictions, and self-esteem issues.
Utilizing a blend of theoretical and evidence-based approaches, I am committed to helping my clients heal and achieve personal growth. By tailoring our approach to each individual, we empower clients to develop personalized strategies and coping mechanisms that make their emotional lives more manageable, acceptable, and comfortable. Our counseling sessions take place in private, safe, and comfortable rooms. In addition to in-person sessions, we also offer the flexibility of telehealth options, including video or phone counseling. For those who prefer a more active and outdoor experience, we also provide walk & talk counseling sessions.
Please note that Rod Jordan will be on leave for the entirety of September 2023. However, our team of qualified professionals is here to support and guide you on your journey towards mental well-being.

"I have been seeing Rod for about a year and a half and I think he is a very good psychologist and councellor. His approach is 'humanistic' and he keeps up to date with all the latest psychological research. For me, it is about having someone 'on your side' who will listen and suggest ways to overcome the obstacles, and meet the challenges we all experience in life. I've been a client of another councellor in the past, who was slightly aloof and superior, with an attitude of "I'm the expert on you" which I found a bit irritating ( not to mention disempowering ). With Rod, its completely different. We have an equal and collaborative relationship.His feedback and insights are very helpful, sometimes resonating days afterwards. At times he connects the dots in ways that hadn't occurred to me. We often stay focussed on the present and Rod suggests practical strategies for me to implement. ( behavioural changes ) At other times the roots of an issue can originate in childhood, so then we explore those memories. A good councellor is a great support and I’d recommend Rod.
