"I had an appointment for my 4.5 year old son to see Katie at The Practice. The appointment was at 10.00am, and we arrived a couple of minutes early. I was surprised to see there was no receptionist working in the rooms, just a waiting room and a sign that said your psychologist will be with you soon. By 10.15am I thought I must have gotten the appointment time wrong so I rang the receptionist who confirmed our appointment was at 10am but our psychologist must be running late so she would let her know we were waiting. Ten minutes later I get a call from a private number. Upon answering I learned it was Katie, who informed me that she was sick and would not be coming in that day. I understand everyone gets sick and I told her I was sorry she was unwell, but why were we not notified?? I called the receptionist after speaking with Katie who said she didn’t know that Katie wasn’t in that day. Obviously a huge lack of communication between staff. If there was a receptionist in the rooms we wouldn’t have had this problem, as they would have noticed that Katie hadn’t arrived that morning. We sat there for 30 minutes waiting, had driven 30 minutes to be there and I had even taken my son out of kinder to make the appointment. Apart from anything else, we had told my son about the appointment and he was looking forward to it. He was so disappointed when I told him we wouldn’t be going back there. Extremely frustrating and beyond disappointing."

"One of their psychologists snapped and suddenly dropped me as a client after seeing them fortnightly for a year. Rude, unprofessional and coercive with little concern for privacy. When trying to discuss this behavior I was told by the director of The Practice to email my concerns to my GP."
