At Time to Shine Therapy, we believe in providing comprehensive care for our clients. That's why we work in conjunction with Sound It Out Speech Pathology and Building Blocks Occupational Therapy. This unique collaboration allows us to offer multiple services under one roof, benefiting families by providing convenience and ensuring a coordinated approach to therapy and intervention.

Our team of registered child and adolescent psychologists have undergone rigorous education and training, equivalent to six years, and are registered under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). We also support provisional psychologists in completing their internships towards full registration, ensuring a high standard of care across the board.

Our focus is exclusively on children and adolescents, addressing emotional and behavioral problems through diagnosis and resolution. We provide individualized counseling and therapy, evaluating children for various disorders such as specific learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other factors that may impact their development.

Additionally, we specialize in helping children overcome trauma, including abuse and the loss of a loved one, as well as other personal experiences that can influence their mental and emotional health. Our sessions are conducted in a private office setting, ensuring a comfortable and confidential environment for our young clients.

Depending on the diagnoses, we may refer children to other specialists, such as psychiatrists for medication, or propose a treatment plan involving therapy through regularly scheduled visits.
