"On booking I was given a quote for battery replacement that was more competitive than from Brisbane BMW shop. It looks like it was a simple marketing trick to get me there as a customer. When the job was done they raised their price significantly. They charged me more than official BMW shop. So it was better to go to BMW instead. Their manager couldn't match BMW prices. I was left overcharged and disappointed. I will never use their services again. ========== Dear Alexis, I am your genuine customer who was overcharged. I tried to resolve this issue on spot by presenting a quote for the same job from Brisbane BMW asking why you charge me more than your original quote that was written in your journal. But your manager told me that if I don't like the job then LeMans could take the battery back and install my old faulty one. I decided to pay and not to deal with LeMans anymore. I also advise other customers to avoid your services."

"I got a quote on the phone $250 something and when i towed my vehicle there, it was higher. Then they called me everyday for a different reason and every time price was going up amd up. Totally i paid around $4K. I should have asked them to undo all the work they have done and towed my vehicle. When i picked up my car, dash was showing coolant was empty. I went in and said it's empty, they answered ridiculously as " oh we didn't check the coolant we just did our work ". Wait, what? after you did the job, you didn't turn the engine on and check the vehicle? Then I was driving on highway and suddenly there was a noise coming from front tyres. I called them back and explained the situation again, they denied and said they just did their work! Then I took it to my mechanic and tie rod end was out of it's place. There's no way it can happen on it's own. I can swear they did it, they did something wrong or forgot to ensemble every part but I can't prove. On the invoice they don't clearly mention their hourly rate because it's beyond ridiculous. They just say this much parts, this much labour. But how many hours of labour, how much per hour their labour fee is? Long story short, if you value your life ( I'm not saying your vehicle, I'm saying your life, their irresponsible attitude and mistakes could cost your life) just stay away from this extremely unprofessional and expensive place."

If you'd like to be charged $220 for quoting what's wrong with your car (without them quoting any diagnostic fee), this is the place for you. If you'd like attitude and terrible service, this is the place for you. If you'd like to be lied to about what's wrong with your car so they can charge thousands of dollars extra, this is also the place for you. This is the most dishonest mechanic I have ever dealt with in my 27 years of car ownership. They claimed the front shock absorbers were leaking, discovered this was a lie when I checked with another mechanic while the car was up on a hoist. They claimed both front CV shafts needed replacing, this was a lie, only one shaft needing repair. They claimed they did a "major service" but didn't even replace the radiator fluid or top it up. What else have they lied about, I'll find it."
