Whether you're in need of a face-to-face consultation or prefer the convenience of telehealth, our team is here to provide the care you need. Please note that starting from Monday 24th July, 2023, there will be a $2 increase in consultation fees for both face-to-face and telehealth appointments on weekdays. This increase also applies to consultations that occur after 8pm, ensuring that we can continue to provide exceptional care around the clock. However, please be assured that the out-of-pocket cost remains the same.

We understand the importance of accessibility and convenience, which is why we offer Saturday appointments, including after-hours appointments from 1pm. Please note that an additional $10 fee is applied to all consultations on Saturdays.

At Carrum Downs Medical Centre, we also prioritize preventive healthcare. As flu season approaches, we encourage you to book an appointment to secure your immunization against influenza. Special risk groups are eligible to receive the seasonal influenza vaccine for free under the National Immunization Program (NIP), and the vaccine is also free for all infants and children from six months to under five years of age.

In addition to influenza vaccination, we also offer Covid-19 vaccination boosters. If you meet the eligibility criteria, including being 65 years and over, a resident of an aged care or disability care facility, 16 years and older with severe immunocompromise, or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years and older, we urge you to protect yourself this winter by getting your Covid-19 vaccination booster.

We understand that the past couple of years have been challenging, and our clinic has adapted to support our patient community as best we can. Telehealth medicine was initially introduced as a temporary service during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we were happy to bulk-bill during that time to ease financial burdens. However, please note that now that telehealth is a permanent service, fees will apply.
