Australia Post - Healesville Main Street LPO

"Usually the staff are very lovely and helpful, but one member working at the parcel desk seems to have decided that being condescending and rude is how she prefers to treat others. I went to collect a parcel this morning as I received an email stating it was ready for collection. The man helping me was lovely and tried to find it, but was unable, so I was asked to come back later in the day. I asked if it was possible to come back next week as I was unable to return later. They told me this was fine, and I thanked them and was walking away. As I was walking away the female member of staff, helping another customer, turned to the man and said very loudly "it helps if you read the slip". It is true that the slip said after 2pm today, but as I had received the email stating it was there I went in the morning instead. I am capable of reading the slip thank you. Which coincidentally says the LPO is open from 8.30am, yet did not open until 9am. Please learn how to treat others Ms, or perhaps take a position where you don't have to interact with the public if your attitude is so poor. Thank you to the other hard working members of staff, especially during these busy times."

"I've never had any issues from the post office until now. I understand times are tough and things are needed to be monitored but some staff being rude and treating people like their stupid or not explaining things themselves properly to make you feel stupid isn't acceptable. We are all in this together so please be kind."

"Went into the newsagent part of the post office as it was just after closing time of the post office on Saturday. Asked for a book of 10 stamps and was told not available, turned to walk out somebody from the back called out and said they could help me with a book of stamps, at this point in time the woman behind the news agency counter said she could help me with 10 individual stamps. Why wasn’t this offered to me In the first place, all I needed was 10 stamps. Disappointing customer service as she would have let me walk out without stamps, I always find her not helpful. I usually take my business elsewhere as I find the whole place frustrating and unfriendly."

"We have been going to this post office for years and have a PO Box there also. I have always found the service to be extremely friendly until I (unfortunately) walked out very disappointed today. After I had been served, and was told to come back with more information another time, I hadn’t left the shop yet and my son and husband, who were waiting for me inside as well, heard the lady who served me speak very loudly and nasty in front of all the customers about me and my son to her colleague. Our interaction had been friendly the whole time, and always has been for years, and I was shocked to hear what she said. If you had asked me to rate the post office before today I would have rated it 5 stars as would have mentioned the friendly service, but you just can’t do this in front and about your customers. Appalling really and very disappointing!"
