Welcome to Caloundra Surf School, located in the beautiful Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, Australia. If you're looking to experience the thrill of surfing, you've come to the right place! We specialize in providing small private classes and group lessons, ensuring personalized attention and a safe learning environment.
Learning to surf can be an incredibly fun and rewarding experience, and it's important to start off with the right techniques. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping you have the most enjoyable and successful surfing journey. We take great pride in providing a fantastic service to our students, ensuring that you have the best possible surfing experience.
At Caloundra Surf School, we plan our lessons around the best wave conditions, taking into consideration factors such as tide and wind. This means that the timing of our learn to surf classes may vary from day to day. Rest assured, we will confirm all the details of our lessons, including location and time, at least 24 hours in advance after checking the latest weather forecasts and surf reports.
We offer surfing lessons on both weekdays and weekends, catering to individuals and groups. Our group lessons, which last for 90 minutes, are priced at $50 per surfer. If you prefer a more personalized experience, we also offer private surf classes, priced at $120 for one person, $80 each for two surfers (totaling $160), and $70 each for three or more surfers. As part of the fee, we provide all the necessary equipment, including the right size surfboard, rash shirts for warmer weather, and wetsuits for cooler temperatures. You only need to bring your usual beach gear and a big smile!
Our coaches at Caloundra Surf School are passionate about teaching and enjoy sharing the joy of surfing with our students. We strive to ensure that you have the most fun and memorable experience possible. To find us, we meet in the big car park opposite the Dicky Beach shops and near the Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park (caravan park). This is Beach Access 266. Additionally, we also meet in the car park at the beach end of Robe Street, Currimundi (at the corner of Robe Street and Watson Street), which is Beach Access 256, around 300m south of Currimundi Lake. Our white van will be there, ready to guide you through your surfing adventure.
