Welcome to Capalaba Kindergarten, a nurturing and inclusive educational institution located at Holland Crescent, 54 in Capalaba, Australia. We cater to children aged 2.5 to 5 years, providing them with a warm and developmentally appropriate environment to learn and grow.

Our Pre-Kindy Program is specifically designed for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. Here, we create a nurturing space where our youngest learners can thrive. Our highly experienced and caring educators are dedicated to building meaningful relationships with each child and their family. We ensure that every child feels safe, loved, and supported throughout their journey of discovery and development.

For children aged 4 to 5 years, we believe in providing a unique and holistic learning experience. Group work is highly valued in our program as it allows children to develop meaningful social connections, enhance their thinking and communication skills, and become more independent in their overall learning. Our engaging and inclusive whole group times focus on language and literacy methods, music and movement, and provide reflective practice to extend ideas and develop listening skills.

At Capalaba Kindergarten, we have a team of experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teachers who are passionate about providing the highest quality care and education for your child. They continuously engage in professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and techniques. Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop a love for learning.

We understand the importance of keeping parents involved in their child's daily activities. That's why we love showing and journaling what your children have been doing during the day, and we post multiple updates to keep you informed.

Our learning spaces are carefully designed to feel safe, nurturing, comfortable, and conducive to learning and development. We believe in creating a kindy experience that supports parents, the whole family, and the individual child. Our program is based on the belief that children learn best through hands-on experiences, play, and social interaction. We encourage their natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the world around them.

Our daily program is adaptable and flexible, allowing us to customize it to meet the unique needs and interests of each child. We believe in establishing strong and loving connections with the children. Our educators act as facilitators, guiding and supporting the children's exploration and learning, rather than dictating what they should learn.

In addition to our regular program, we offer a bush kindy program called "Play On Country." This program provides children with the opportunity to engage in nature-based activities and play in a natural environment. It promotes curiosity, creativity, problem-solving skills, and improves physical health, as well as social and emotional development.

At Capalaba Kindergarten, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality two-year educational program for children aged 2.5 years to school age. Our passionate and highly qualified educators follow an approved early childhood curriculum. We operate a unique one-room kindergarten, providing a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive and develop a love for learning.

To ensure individualized attention and support, our private kindergarten program operates two groups per week, from Monday to Wednesday and Thursday to Friday. We offer education and care from 7am to 4pm, 48 weeks per year, ensuring that children receive the best possible start to their educational journey. Our program is designed to be engaging, fun, and interactive, allowing children to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

As Diane Ackerman once said, "Play is our brain's favorite way of learning." At Capalaba Kindergarten, we fully embrace this philosophy. We also acknowledge and thank the Quandamooka people for sharing and caring for the land we learn and play on. We pay our respects to Elders and strive to share our friendship and kindness.
