Reviews
"Stayed for the week and absolutely loved it. Clean & beautiful home in an amazing location overlooking shipwrecks. Would highly recommend hiring a buggy as well. House had everything you needed plus more! Would highly recommend. Helen was super friendly and easy to deal with. We will be back for sure!"
"Our family of 6 adults and 2 young children throughly enjoyed staying ay Marianne's beach house. It is superbly located on top of the hill with amazing views (esp when thunderstorms roll by). Loved the daily visits of the kookaburras too. The house has everything you could possibly need and was immaculately clean. It was great to have use of the buggy esp with young children as the 200 steps down to the resort and beach, although very manageable, they are quite steep in parts. Having the resort facilities was a bonus too but we loved just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the beautiful home and the view. Some great 4 WD experiences too. Marianne was a great host who was easily contactable and kept us informed of all our needs. For 4 WD drivers, (it's a must to have a car to get all your gear up to the house), the car barge disembarks near the shipwrecks and so its a bumpy ride up to the house. For others, the passenger ferry disembarks near the resort. It really is the perfect house for a family holiday. Thank you, Marianne."
"Seven of us stayed here for 7 nights. House was so comfortable and had everything that we needed. We had three cars and there was plenty of parking. Marianne was fantastic to deal with. Bit of a walk back from the resort but the option of the golf buggy is there if required, maybe next time. The view from the veranda was great, especially at sunset. The house has everything that you will need for a great holiday. Will be back and will be recommending this place to friends and family. Thankyou Marianne and Richard for a great week."
"Great spot. Amazing views. Good size house, great entertainment area. Walking distance to the resort. Tip if you have elderly people maybe invest in a golf cart as it's a steep hill. Or ask the resort for $10 to take you up. Warning tho, no aircon in the house, so summer I imagine can be brutal. Nice BBQ in the back, good size rooms, clean. Place needs a decent set of Bluetooth speakers. Also no wifi which sucks as there is hardly any signal up there."
"We stayed here what a time we had."
