"When I first contacted Shine about making an injury claim I was unsure about what to expect. I shouldn’t have worried. The people there are true professionals. "Hands down, the worst service I’ve ever received, from a business who is supposed to support me through a difficult process no less. After 2 years, multiple (3) changes in those responsible for representation - causing me to rehash the claim and case over and over again, to then have been mislead about possible entitlements, mislead about the process and what would be involved, and mislead all around, to THEN be ignored. No follow up from emails, no follow up from voicemails, no response to my support person contacting, nothing. For over a month at a time. A basic email reply saying “we’ll get back to you” and then nothing. Lodged a complaint with complaints team, told it would be escalated, that was a fortnight ago. I have been ignored, lied to, mislead and disrespected by the team of representatives at Shine Epping and am stuck in limbo and at my wits end not knowing what I am meant to do next whilst in the middle of a claim…. If you’re looking for an organisation to advise, support and guide you through an extremely difficult time in your life, such as an injury claim, then I urge you to look elsewhere. Save yourself the pain of a terrible experience with Shine. I’ve never written a negative review about anything. But the amount of time I have invested in trying to reach someone for some actual advice and guidance or even an update on my claim, is beyond a joke. The last verbal call I had with my rep was in December. It is now the end of April. I have sent more than 15 emails and left more than 10 voicemails. My support person has also reached out. Waste of energy, emotion, time, and ultimately will result in a poor result for my claim- due to their misdoings. I hope you’re happy with yourselves… I’m worse off than when we started…"
