Welcome to the Maternal & Child Health Centre in Eltham, Australia! Our establishment is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare and support for families with young children from birth to school age. Located on Main Road in Eltham, our center is easily accessible to all families living in Nillumbik.

Our team of highly qualified and experienced MCH nurses is here to assist you with a wide range of services. We offer support in areas such as health and safety, parenting, and the growth and development of your child. Our nurses can also provide referrals and connect you with local support services when needed.

At our center, we strive to make it effortless for parents and caregivers to access the services, support, and information necessary to keep their families healthy, happy, and safe. Our MCH nurses will not only provide you with information about available programs and services but also assist in booking your first key age and stage visit.

From birth to three and a half years, there are ten key ages and stages that we focus on. Our nurses will guide you through each milestone, ensuring you know what to expect and how they can help. Additionally, we offer a variety of programs for new parents and provide valuable resources to support your child's growth and development.

Rest assured that our nurses are highly qualified, with backgrounds in general nursing, midwifery, and maternal and child health. They continually update their knowledge and skills to provide the best care possible. Our MCH nurses are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority, ensuring their professionalism and expertise.

To further support families, we have developed the MCH app, which provides reliable information that Victorian families can use on a daily basis. The app is available in multiple languages, including Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dari, Khmer, Persian, Punjabi, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

In collaboration with the Banyule Council Immunisation Service, we also offer immunizations for free as part of the National Immunisation Program Schedule. These immunizations are given at specific times throughout your life, helping to protect you and your family from preventable diseases.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented strict safety measures following the recommendations of the Chief Health Officer, as well as the Australian and Victorian governments. Your health, the health of your family, and the health of our staff are our top priorities.
