"I cannot recommend the team at The (very appropriately named) Happy Baby Clinic highly enough! Before our daughter arrived, my husband and I took their masterclass on establishing good habits from day 1. We didn't fully appreciate how useful it was until after our daughter was born. We implemented everything The Happy Baby Clinic recommended; it made the newborn phase as smooth as possible which meant we were able to enjoy it far more than we expected to. It wasn't all easy, but not being exhausted certainly makes the hard parts easier to deal with! At about 3.5 months the dreaded four month sleep regression hit. We had another appointment with Elizabeth when our daughter turned four months old. By that stage we were exhausted after two weeks of cat naps during the day, terrible sleep at night and a far grumpier baby than usual. At our appointment Elizabeth talked us through everything she noticed in our daughter's development that told her she was ready for sleep training using the responsive settling technique. This gave us the confidence to start implementing it that night. Wow, what a difference. It was almost an immediate change. Our daughter responded quickly and within a few days we felt like we had our life back - we were all sleeping through the night, days were much much better and as a result everyone (including our daughter) was much happier. We've continued to have regular check ups with the team throughout the first year of our daughter's life. These check ups have been useful for managing the transition from three naps to two and addressing (minor) issues we've come across with our daughter's sleep since we sleep trained her. A massive thank you to the team at The Happy Baby Clinic! You have made the transition to being parents as easy as it could be. If you're on the fence about booking an appointment, my advice is to just do it! They understand what it's like to be exhausted parents, are compassionate and caring. Trust in their (evidence based) advice completely and you won't regret it!"
