For almost two decades, the Bell-Rose Academy of Dance has been dedicated to upholding high standards of excellence and beauty in dance. Our Classical Ballet program follows the esteemed Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus, ensuring that students are taught the correct technique from the very beginning. We believe in providing individual attention in a positive and encouraging atmosphere, creating a fun and enriching learning experience for all students, whether they dance for pleasure or aspire to a professional career.
In addition to Classical Ballet, our Jazz program expresses the dynamic evolution of modern dance. We infuse our Jazz classes with elements of Broadway, Funk, and Lyrical styles, allowing students to explore their creativity and develop various Jazz techniques. For those seeking a greater challenge or interested in teaching, we also offer Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) Jazz Syllabus Classes and Exams.
At the Bell-Rose Academy of Dance, we also offer Tap classes following the SFD Syllabus. These classes develop a high level of proficiency and expose students to a wide variety of music from different eras. Furthermore, our Contemporary dance classes combine elements of Modern, Jazz, and Classical Ballet, encouraging students to connect their mind and body through fluid movements. These classes emphasize versatility, improvisation, and the use of gravity.
Conveniently located in McKinnon and Ormond, our studio locations cater to students from Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs, including Bentleigh, Brighton, Carnegie, Caulfield, Clayton, Huntingdale, Murrumbeena, and Oakleigh.
