With a strong foundation in general dentistry, she gained valuable experience working in a private practice in Western Sydney and as a resident dental officer at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health.

Driven by her passion for pediatric dentistry, Dr Thuy embarked on specialist training at the University of Sydney in 2007. During her training, she focused her research on the oral health of Vietnamese preschool-aged children, highlighting her commitment to providing culturally sensitive care. In 2010, she achieved her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) and started her part-time private practice.

Dr Thuy's dedication to serving the community extended beyond her private practice. From 2010 to 2012, she served as a Senior Registrar in Paediatric Dentistry at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health. In this role, she provided dental care for children in special schools and hospices, showcasing her expertise in handling complex cases. Additionally, she contributed to the academic field as a clinical tutor and lecturer at the University of Sydney.

In 2011, Dr Thuy collaborated with Dr Susan to establish St George Paediatric Dental Specialists, further solidifying her commitment to exceptional pediatric dental care. Dr Thuy specializes in dental care for children with special needs and the management of dental trauma. Her fluency in Vietnamese allows her to effectively communicate with Vietnamese-speaking patients and their families, ensuring personalized and culturally appropriate care.

When she's not practicing dentistry, Dr Thuy enjoys spending time with her two active boys and honing her cooking and baking skills. This dedication to balancing her personal and professional life underscores her commitment to holistic well-being.
