"Prue has made such a big change in my life!!! - I am absolutely fascinated with schema therapy, to me this has been the most effective treatment for my anxiety and depression. I cannot stop telling everyone about it. She is amazing!! Reading the past review made me sad because one thing I have learned with her is to set boundaries and make people respect them. She is very straight forward and tells you things as they are, but that is actually a skill I highly admire. I cannot thank her enough! "Prue Wright has seen me and my daughter. Her counselling skill is okay. But she is extremely inconsiderate about people's circumstances. She charged the full fee as cancellation, where my daughter has forgotten her online appointment. She is only 12 years old !! I was outside and was unable to contact my daughter to remind her for appointment. If it was myself, its understandable. But she did not had the level of compassion for young child. I would steer clear of such woman, who doesn't has any compassion, only runs business for her earnings. The profession she belongs to, should have some compassion of people's genuine circumstances. I am myself in a medical profession and we do not change full cancellation fees. I had cancellations before from other services. Most of them are considerate, or charge half fee if the missed appointment was for genuine cause. She also made sure I do not get any rebate from medicare, for the cancellation. She told me, its the government rules. Seriously? I had relatable cancellation from medicare in the past. I have very good knowledge how medicare works. I have understood exactly how inconsiderate this lady was. She told me she was highly considerate seeing my child in short notice. I just want to add, she did not do any favour seeing my daughter. She was fully paid for her service. I have posted my true experience with Prue Wright. I do not doubt her skill as a psychologist, but her morality and values are questionable. When someone sees a psychologist for counselling weekly or fourth nightly, unexpected things happens in human life. Appointments is missed ( Of course for geniune reasons) Being a therapist, this should be taken into account, at least some circumstances. What surprised me is, to Prue , it was totally about "Business". No compassion or understanding."
