Mofiza's Family Day Care

"My son is currently attending Mofiza Family Daycare as before school care and after school care. Mofiza has always been on time picking my son up and dropping my son off at school. Mofiza is always in the same spot visible for my son and teacher to see. Mofiza uses an app for us parents and is always updating with photos of the day and a description of what the kids got up to. If i have any questions or concerns Mofiza is always happy to help and answer. Mofiza daycare is always clean, tidy and safe. Mofiza has resources for all age grounds inside and outside play. im always happy to send my son there and not have to worry, it is like a second home for my son, he absolutely loves going."

"My daughter attended Mofizas family day care centre for almost 15months. I have been very impressed with my daughters progress while she attended the care. Daily update on the app about my daughters day was something I used to look forward to each day. I really liked the fact that I was able to drop my daughter off at 6am, not a lot of day care start this early but I have been informed that this is not the case anymore. The place was very clean and well set up for the kids to explore and enjoy. Mofiza has a lot of resources for the kids to enjoy. Something that I did not like with the service was the fact how my daughter was given a termination notice as the educators reasoning was she was unable to manage my child’s behaviour. Being an educator registered with the council, council have processes where it states that there are steps that are undertaken when a child with difficult behaviour is identified. The educator mentioned about my child’s behaviour a few times while my child attended this care and we did follow up after this occasions and were told the child was making progress. If the educator had ongoing issues then it should have been raised with the parents on each occasion and we should also have been given the opportunity to meet with the nominated supervisors and also given referrals or advice to seek professional help which did not occur as it is mentioned in the councils handbook. For incoming parents be careful when you contact the council and ask for clarification on the service providers decisions which you might not agree with because this is what I did and the following day my child was terminated from care."
