"Mr.Lehotsky wont let students go to the toilet that is a violation and restriction of my rights"
"Send your kids anywhere but to this school. The school does NOT live up to its motto, “Getting the best from and for our students.” It seems as though the good teachers have been driven away or forced to move on from the school by the school’s leadership group. There are barely any proper classroom teachers and it usually isn’t a surprise for students to be taught and supervised by CRT’s who couldn’t care less about what’s going on in the classroom. It also feels as if the newly hired teachers have no clue how to teach or even control a class of 25 students. NWSP12 has all the facilities and more needed to teach, provide guidance and support to students and yet the school fails to deliver and only disappoint and discourage students. Enlighten me, how are you supposed to get the best from and for your students when the school doesn’t even have the proper teachers to teach the material? Also, it’d be good if the so-called “trusted staff” actually support students’ goals and guide them. Perhaps the staff are yet to attend training on - ‘How NOT to discourage students and give them the right support and guidance”. As a current NWSC student who used to look forward and genuinely feel excited about going to school everyday, it makes me sad to admit that I don’t feel that way anymore when I think about going to school. I’m worried for my future and I’m worried that I won’t hit my goals and reach certain milestones. I wish I felt safe and comfortable to share my thoughts and worries with our current principal and the rest of his team but they’ve made it clear that they aren’t on their students’ sides and that they cannot be bothered to hear anyone else’s opinions but their own. The school was at its peak when Mr Rob Duncan was the principal. I fear that we may have taken his reign as principal for granted. With all the teachers (and even students) that have left, I feel as though the school has lost its heart and it is made obvious when students and staff are seen around the yard with empty facial expressions. Along with its heart the school has lost its values and colour."
"Narre Warren South P-12 College Is one of the worst schools I’ve ever seen in my life friend group are constantly targeted. You will be Suspended maybe even expelled if there is a fight and you don’t get involved and stop it. Teachers are always targeting black/Muslim students Year 9 Coordinators are horrible they will give u extreme consequences for not following instruction for example “ if I was to shut open a door hard they would give you a 1 week suspension this school is horrible I DO NOT RECOMMMEND FOR BLACK/MUSLIEM STUDENTS. kids are always bullied if your a parent/Guardian about to sign up your kid do not this school ruins lives instead of helping"
"Mr Duncan brought the school to its highest peaks with such great culture and results. Unfortunately, this school has honestly had a drastic change since the change in principal, 'Dr. P Thatcher'. The amount of teachers who have left and teacher turnover has been significant with only a small percentage of experienced, dedicated ones who are able to maintain student engagement and behavioural management. The results may have played out well in 2021, but do not be fooled by the leadership, it was purely and solely thanks to the 7-10, and VCE teachers. Leadership and presence by the principal was minimal. Thankful I graduated when I did because all I've heard from my siblings who currently attend this school since the new principal change is the new boxing gym he implemented to teach students to box each other at lunch and recess time. Also over 80% of new staff due to fantastic teachers leaving or preparing to leave...good luck P-12."
"I have been a teaching member of this school for almost 20 years. I would like to state that in the past 2 decades I have never felt so supported as a teaching staff member with the new leadership team. The school's motto and philosophy of 'Getting the best for and from our students' has continued to be a priority in the past 12 months and will continue to do so. The executive leadership team may be relatively new to our school, however, their dedication to making our school live up to our school's values PRIDE (Perservance , Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence) continues."
