Welcome to Counselling Insights, located at Sydney CBD and Forestville. My name is Keith Avedissian and I have been providing counselling, psychotherapy, and homeopathy services for over 30 years.

As a counsellor and EMDR therapist, I am here to help you navigate through overwhelming moods and challenges in life. Whether it's work problems, relationship difficulties, family disputes, unfulfilled ambitions, or a lack of direction, I can provide you with a safe and objective space to talk about your concerns.

Often, we ignore these initial feelings, believing that we can cope with them. However, over time, they can start to affect our behavior, mood, and relationships. Counselling sessions with me can help unravel the inner workings of your mind and guide you towards a better sense of well-being.

In my practice, I specialize in using a combination of EMDR therapy and counselling to address trauma memories, such as PTSD, as well as a range of emotional conditions associated with it. I also focus on improving interpersonal relationships by helping you recognize and understand self-limiting behaviors that may be undermining your relationships.

My approach to treatment involves exploring the root causes of your anxiety, depression, or fear, and working towards overcoming them. I have been in practice since 1986 and hold a Masters' degree in counselling and psychotherapy, as well as a graduate diploma in counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Additionally, I have volunteered at Lifeline as a telephone crisis counsellor.

I see individuals and couples of all ages, providing counselling services and supporting overall health. I have helped many clients overcome anxiety and panic through a combination of homeopathy and counselling.
