Reviews
"Tarrawarra museum is an excellent spot to catch an art exhibition. I've visited a few exhibitions of contemporary art and they were spectacular. The vineyards and trees outside at Tarrawarra estate offer some stunning views especially during autumn and makes for a great spot to enjoy the peace and quiet. Sunsets here are quite picturesque. There are couple of restaurants offering food and wine tasting that makes for a perfect half day trip."
"The aboriginal art exhibition was marvellous. Besides, the location and the scenery is breathtaking. Next time,I'm going to book a seat at the restaurant to enjoy the view over lunch."
"A very calming and serene environment. The landscape is absolutely lovely, which I loved more than the actual museum. Adult entry to the museum costs $12. The restaurant is pretty expensive - they only have 4 course meals for about $140 per person ."
"Very nice museum to visit. It has a beautiful lake. As the museum is on a hill, you get a good view of the of the lake and hills. This is not a big museum but it's got some interesting work of arts to appreciate. There is also a shop where you can buy some of the art pieces. We were there half an hour before closing at 5 pm. As we came out and walk around, the sun was about to set. We were happy to see a beautiful sunset with the lake, hills and trees in the background. So if you are here, its definely worth staying for the sunset."
"Second or maybe third time been here. I love the colour of trees in autumn. One of the most beautiful wineries in the Yarra Valley area."
