In addition to our commitment to conservation, Carrington Park is also a proud supporter of sustainability efforts in the Knox community. With the introduction of the new weekly food and garden bin service, residents have successfully halved the amount of rubbish going to landfill. A staggering 1900 tonnes of food scraps and other organic waste have been diverted to be transformed into nutrient-rich compost. This innovative initiative not only benefits the environment but also promotes a greener and cleaner future for all.
Furthermore, Carrington Park is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the renowned Women on the Go annual business networking event on the 14th of September. This event provides a platform for inspirational women to connect, share their experiences, and foster meaningful connections. Tickets for this empowering event are available for purchase, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
We are also proud to share the heartwarming story of a Ferntree Gully family who have embraced the weekly food and garden service. By making small changes in their daily lives, they have joined forces with the council to reduce waste and contribute to the composting process. Their dedication serves as an inspiration to us all, reminding us that every individual effort counts in creating a more sustainable future.
Lastly, Carrington Park would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the City of Knox, the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We honor their deep connection to the land and recognize their ongoing custodianship.

"Good for kids and parents, There is tables to sit next to and the playground. There is a green slide up high and a blue slide at normal height. There's a rock to rock climb on as well."

"This is a great place to watch some cricket and the kids can play on a new park which will be opening soon i believe. All the new infrastructure looks awesome. Even has an RC car track that needs some work but still fun. And don't forget the cricket scoreboard is awesome as well. Well worth a visit on the weekends."
