"We could smell the garbage bin from where we sat to eat. I found a dead bug in my bowl. Our cutlery box was taken from our table and offered to other patrons before we could select any ourselves. The mushrooms tasted rotten. Disappointed."
"The signature malatang soup is absolutely flavour less. The Sichuan soup was ok but way too spicy for mild. Very inconsistent. You're much better off visiting the Clayton or Glen store. Don't come here"
"Springvale Dragon Hot pot severely lacks variety and the soup isn’t as flavourful as other Dragon Hotpot places like Clayton or Glen Waverley. I recommend driving a bit more to other DHP chains for better food."
"I found a piece of metal scrubber in mine also gave me diarrhoea. Hygiene: dirty walls, tables, unclean bowls and spoon, oily water. Customer service: they are robots, N/A, judgmental, rude, refuses service. Price: useless surcharges (weekend 10%), take away fee, $4.28 per 100g. Food: moldy corn, wilted food. The noodles were puree. Cross contamination: unwanted foods found in order (big allergy risk). Health concerns when eating hotpot: acid reflux, aggressive coughing. Conclusion, dont eat here."
"Friendly staff and good amount of seats. Theres a variety of toppings to choose and a bowl is enough to feed two people. Love the collagen bone broth which is silky and rich in taste."
