"My Strata management mistakenly told me to get my By-Law registered in order to get a meeting to vote on a renovation. Upon trying to engage Bannermans Lawyers about having this done I was told that the vote from strata should be done first, I replied ", I will try again to get a vote through strata and get back to you" I then received another email outlining what would be required if I was to go ahead with Bannermans lodging the by-law and that they would "arrange for our office to issue a fee proposal to you" They sent a me fee proposal, I had not replied or accepted the proposal as I was still waiting for a completed vote on the renovation. I then received a bill for $122.10 for professional costs. Being billed before entering into the agreement has left me feeling unwilling to use Bannermans Lawyers services as proposed."
