"The staff are dishonest, rude and amoral. I had been coming to this store every week for almost 2 years. On Sunday I paid for my items and as I was leaving a staff member ran after me and I couldn't understand what he was saying to me. I followed him back and he was gesturing to the Eftpos machine from which I gathered the payment hadn't been processed. Given how frequently I go to the store I trusted this staff member that the payment hadn't gone through so I tapped my card again. When I got home I checked my bank accounts to see that they had charged me twice. I called the store and they assured me over the phone that they would refund me. When I went back in, they refused to pay me what was owed and instead began arguing about what had happened and were gaslighting me. After much stressful arguing they said that the money would be refunded into my account the next day - which never occurred. I will be reporting this store to my bank, Consumer Affairs Victoria, and IGA Headquarters."
