"Desordre used to be one of my favourite stores in the world. I've dropped thousands of dollars on this store and have supported this store from when they were still a small boutique in Paddington years ago and Shannon was still working in the store, but unfortunately will never be shopping here again. Their customer service is TERRIBLE, especially if you are buying online. The first bad experience happened when I bought a pair of Khaite jeans that were over $300. It ripped on the first wear, and not at the seams either, and when I brought it back to the store for an exchange I was met with a lot of push back. It took a lot of back & forth (several phone calls and going to their stores several times) to finally be allowed to exchange for another item. I was made to feel like it was my fault that the jeans had ripped. Mind you I now have 4 pairs of Khaite jeans in that same size and have had no problems, so it was not a fit issue. I've now moved to the US, but have continued to still purchase from their store. I have A LOT of Christopher Esber items and have always been between a size 6-8. I bought two dresses that were the same in size 8s, the only differences were the colour and length - one fit perfectly but the other one was smaller by about 2 inches so it was not even close to zipping up. When I contacted them, it took them days to get back to me, and only to say they couldn't help me as it was a sale item. I get that their policy doesn't allow exchanges on sale items, but in this case there is clearly something wrong with the item's sizing. This is also considering that I first bought the dress in a size 6, but because of the returns policy had forfeited that money and repurchased the size 8s, which was even smaller than the 6!! The 6 at least zipped up! I had followed up with an email but had gotten no response to this day. And now this week, I bought another pair of Khaite jeans and was sent the wrong pair of jeans! I've emailed them but have heard nothing back. This shouldn't even be an issue to begin with, but now considering that it is, I'd expect a timely resolution. This is the last straw! If you're shopping online, save yourself the hassle and buy these items on FWRD, Netaporter, Farfetch or Revolve instead. If you want something curated, ModaOperandi is also amazing! Their returns policy and customer service are waaaayy better, you can shop without the stress. Desordre unfortunately seems to only care about making the sale, and once that happens you're no longer relevant no matter how loyal of a customer you were. 3 stars because some of the staff are actually really nice and attentive and because of the previous good experiences I've had with the store. Last few interactions are definitely 1 star."
