I love my new desk.  My old vintage desk, although quaint and functional, was not fit for purpose.  The draw was too low and it was way too small.  I now have a huge playing field to spread out my work, my chair fits perfectly underneath even though there is still a draw, no ugly cords and power boards and no plugging in my phone.  When I enter my study the look and even the smell of the new timber makes me smile.  It is a beautiful creation and you should be super proud to build such a fine piece of furniture."

"Where do I begin..... I spent countless hours and nights looking for the perfect desk. I looked at all the big branded furniture stores and many others, until I came across Maram and the Mesa 57. Every question was answered, updates were given along the way. They even design a custom tower stand for me. Usually when you're purchasing something online they always glam the item up, but with this desk it looks even better in person. It shows that a lot of love went into the design, build and delivery. "My partner and I were one of the first 100 backers for Maram's Mesa 57 Kickstarter Project in late 2019. We ordered x2 desks package with the "Coffee Stain" colour. Last week received our desks (delays due to COVID) I can guarantee you now, they do not disappoint at all. There is an impeccable level of craftsmanship and care taken into the design and build of these desks. They are very easy to assemble, simply screwing the legs into place - clicking the power board into place and you are ready to go. As you can see from the photos my partner and i have vastly different needs. My partner's desk with the dual monitors clamped to the "Rise 57" is more office and admin focused. Its very clean and there's plenty of space. The laptops are folded neatly away. Where as my desk suites my needs as a gamer with my work stuff resting in the corner. I opted to remove the bevel from the desk edge and stick with a straight edge, due to my mouse pad/keyboard setup. We couldn't be happier with the desks, if well looked after they should last a life time."
