Welcome to Fort Street Public Temporary School, located at Ultimo, Wattle Street in Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to be a primary school that provides a world-class education in a nurturing environment.
Currently, we are undergoing an exciting project to upgrade our school site on Observatory Hill in Millers Point. This upgrade will not only cater to our growing enrolments but also provide state-of-the-art learning and teaching facilities. While this project is underway, Fort Street Public School is temporarily located in Wentworth Park, Glebe. We will continue to operate from this location until the upgrade is completed in 2023.
At Fort Street Public Temporary School, we understand the importance of engaging and educational activities for parents and caregivers to enjoy with their children. If you and your kids are airport enthusiasts, we have something special in store for you. Our lucky students in Years 4 to 6 recently attended a special World Cup event at Mrs Macquarie's Chair, offering them a chance to experience one of Sydney's most iconic views.
We take great pride in participating in Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education. This event recognizes the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. It is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire community.
As an institution, we also want to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. We recognize and honor the wisdom and contributions of Elders, both past and present.
